Junior Park Run

Dedicated members of MYA’s Integrated Youth Service Team have been going above and beyond, giving up their own time to further improve the opportunities for communities to come together through positive activity. The Team have worked closely with ‘Parkrun’, Knowsley Council and the local community to launch Knowsley’s first ever junior parkrun for children from 4- 14. While MYA staff have formed to initial core volunteer team, including acting as Event Directors, we have worked closely with the local community and over the first 10 weeks have developed a strong regular roster of local volunteers all of whom make this event possible on a weekly basis. 

Halewood Junior parkrun is s weekly 2K Walk, Run, Jog which starts at 9:00am and is completely free to take part in. Further details can be found here:
