NOISE INCUBATOR PEN
Incubator Pen is a ground breaking 12 month programme, designed to empower the next generation of Music Industry Professionals within Liverpool.
Following on from 2023’s hugely successful ‘Next Gen: Music Boss’ programme, hosted by Noise in collaboration with Yaw Owusu (Nothin’ But The Music) and supported by Kevin McManus (Head of Unesco/LCR Music Board), we are so proud to announce this exciting new programme that will run until May 2025.
What is this programme all about?
We recognise that many of our young people in this city have incredible potential to be successful in the Music Industry. Sadly, a lot of our young people don’t see themselves in these Industry roles and assume you have to live in London or have lots of close connections to successful industry figures, in order to launch such a career. We aim to empower those young people and enable them to create their own career pathways in one of the most exciting industries in the world.
This programme will give a group of young budding music business entrepreneurs the chance to learn everything they can about the music industry. There are thousands of job opportunities in this industry and we want the young people of this city to gain access to as much education and information about these career pathways as possible.
Throughout the year, the group will learn the A-Z of the music industry studying job roles such as Artist Management, Music Marketing, PR, Artist Consultancy, A&R and many more. There will be guest speakers, workshops and creative projects whereby the group will help build PR and marketing campaigns for some of Liverpool’s most exciting new Artists!
One of our goals is also to support this group in establishing their own social enterprise at the end of the programme, empowering them to forge their own paths into the industry.
