MYA NOISE
NOISE is a music programme dedicated to providing artistic, musical, pastoral and career based support for aspiring musicians aged 11-25.
Sessions take place at NOISE (Merseyside Youth Association 65-67 Hanover Street, Liverpool City Centre) on weekdays usually between 10 and 5, depending on staff schedule. Sessions must be booked with staff in advance and regularity of sessions will be determined following the introductory session. There will always be an introductory session to begin with.

‘MAKING A REFERRAL TO NOISE-IMPORTANT INFO’
To make a referral, please complete this form and return to JoeC@mya.org.uk
At Noise we’re not worried about talent level, technical ability or how much musical experience a young person has. What we insist on though is that they must be what we refer to as ‘musically motivated.’ This means that the young person is eager to develop their chosen musical skill and wants to grow creatively and musically.
There are huge benefits to exploring a musical activity and accessing our project. Many of these benefits include improving mental health and wellbeing, building confidence and potential social development. We take the pastoral side of our project very seriously and it is an extremely important element of our projects identity. A young persons primary motive for getting involved with us however must be music based. If the young person has a real desire to improve their musical/creative skill set we can definitely support.’
*due to the high volume of referrals and young people currently accessing Noise, please allow up to 4 weeks before contacting us to follow up on referral.
Noise currently offers support for the following disciplines;
-singing/vocals
-piano
-guitar
-bass
-recording ideas/demos
-general Artist development
-production
-rehearsal space (bands/solo Artists)
-song writing/song development
