MYA TALENT MATCH 

We engage with young people aged 16-24 in the Liverpool City Region who have been out of work, training or education for 12 months. Through a range of creative and innovative activities, you will have the opportunity to discover your skills, your employment opportunities, and improve your life chances and create your future.

A dedicated Intensive Mentor will guide you on your journey, by developing a personalised pathway programme with you and providing one-to-one support. You will be challenged, motivated and inspired; you will grow and build your existing skills, knowledge and interests.

Talent Match is unique in that we can provide:

  • Innovative interventions to build confidence, skills and motivation.
  • Intensive Mentoring to support you throughoutthe programme.
  • Employability and practical programmes that:
    • Break down Barriers and address real work issues
    • Personal and Social Development Activities.
    • Immediate access to therapeutic interventions, such as counselling.

Opening up the world of work

Our person-centred Employability Programme is helping to address youth unemployment in the region through a creative, responsive, and highly strategic approach. We target young people with multiple barriers who are 12 months or more NEET (not in education employment or training), providing multiple bespoke interventions through seamless mentor support.

These Intensive Mentors act as the golden thread, keeping individuals on track through embedded wraparound support. It’s a programme that changes lives, and has become an exemplar model for employability programmes nationwide.

Helping Young People into Work: Liverpool Talent Match Evaluation

Liverpool Talent Match (LTM) supports young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), pairing them with mentors to help break down barriers to work and education.
