MYA TALENT MATCH
Talent Match is a unique and innovative employability programme created to help young people overcome barriers to employment and show the world what they can do.

Opening up the world of work
Our person-centred Employability Programme is helping to address youth unemployment in the region through a creative, responsive, and highly strategic approach. We target young people with multiple barriers who are 12 months or more NEET (not in education employment or training), providing multiple bespoke interventions through seamless mentor support.
These Intensive Mentors act as the golden thread, keeping individuals on track through embedded wraparound support. It’s a programme that changes lives, and has become an exemplar model for employability programmes nationwide.
Your Way
Your Way is a bespoke pathway created and delivered by specialist LDD mentors to bridge the gap for young people who require additional support due to a physical disability, learning disability, learning difficulty or a long-term health condition.
Access to a Young Peoples’ food bank and mentors specialising in neurodivergence and marginalised communities are also made available through targeted outreach.

Helping Young People into Work: Liverpool Talent Match Evaluation
Liverpool Talent Match (LTM) supports young people aged 16-24 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), pairing them with mentors to help break down barriers to work and education. This report shares insights from a two-year evaluation, looking at the programme’s impact and the difference it made.
