Thank you Cash for Kids!
Merseyside Youth Association would like to thank Cash for Kids for supporting our young people and their families this Christmas!
MYA was delighted to hear we had been successful in our application to provide gifts to local children and young people who are at risk to waking up to nothing on Christmas Day. Knowsley’s Operational Manager Lesley says: “Last year we provided over 250 Christmas Eve boxes to families, and as a team we knew we wanted to do something for the local community again this year. The kindness of Cash for Kids and all those who donate through their campaign is truly incredible. We want to send a heartfelt thanks to all who have supported our community; the difference these presents with make to our families is immeasurable.”
A local social worker who works closely with Knowsley families and the MYA team also said: “I wanted to pass on a big thanks to Cash for Kids from some of the families who have received gifts. It has made such a difference to them, and they are happy that they don’t have to worry now about getting presents with money already being so tight. We’d also like to say a big thank you to all those who have organised and donated to the campaign, so these children don’t have to go without”.
