Young Consumer Influencer of the Year 2023

Ruby O’Brien, one of our Knowsley Youth Cabinet members entered a UK national competition in October last year for the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Young Influencer of the Year. Ruby chose to enter a poem about firework safety around selling fireworks to young people. After her poem was selected as a finalist, Ruby was asked to create a video about her poem and share it across social media platforms. The entry with the most likes, shares and comments would be named the winner.

Ruby came in second place in the competition, receiving a £50 Amazon voucher and a certificate of achievement from CTSI.
